This new employee will allow the team to Address single-threaded support model for both Project Portfolio Management apps (Project Server, Nintex) and Application Lifecycle Management Apps (Polarion, Jira, Confluence, Quality Center, ServiceNow Document Approvals module) Establish platform reporting / SQL standards Manage custom development efforts Support automation and integration efforts Improve platform performance This resource will report directly to the PQM director and while they will not have direct reports, they will provide coaching to the team to build skills and knowledge. This resource will also act as an administrator back-up for all platforms when needed and may fulfill developer role when needs (i.e. the role will also be hands-on). Job Description: Lead Systems Analyst Strategic resource that establishes and manages technical road-maps and standards in partnership with PQM leadership Construct and deliver road-maps which ensure PPM and ALM tools are in alignment with industry best practices. Provide technical leadership in tactical planning and participate in strategic planning for PPM and ALM owned applications Maintain shared models, diagrams and documentation to articulate technical architecture and to ensure compliance with standards Mature and stabilize performance, implement integrations and upgrades, provide enhanced reporting, drive productivity improvements and preventive maintenance initiatives to accommodate user needs, ensure stability, and support efficiencies for owned PQM systems Provide technical guidance, direction, and training/mentoring to Solution Engineers / Administrators / Analysts within the PQM capability Acts as back-up for owned PQM systems as necessary, providing end-user support in alignment with customer SLAs May perform some of the daily tasks of the team. Other duties as assigned. Experience 8-10 years experience required. Programming and SQL experience, system administration / management, and system design and documentation. Experience with Agile, Waterfall, DevOps and Lean IT practices and working with/driving multi-sourced team (i.e. employee, onshore/offshore consultants). Four-year degree required. Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Information System, or similar discipline Preferred experience: Knowledge of Java and Python. Demonstrated ability to manage/configure Project Server, Polarion ALM, Jira, and/or Confluence (specifically: security access, data analysis views, OLAP cubes, SQL Reporting, etc.).
