The team member will work closely with senior-level executives to support effective product strategy and act as an end-user advocate. This person will provide innovative, customer-centric information and design recommendations that contribute to an enhanced end-user experience. Essential Functions Plan and direct user experience validation and testing: customer usability, field studies, focus groups, surveys to understand current and future needs of technology offerings Definition of strategies and methodologies to embed a user-centered design process within the organization Customer requirements definition and workflow mapping Review of current and future system designs to ensure optimal and consistent user experience Creation of personas library and Day in the life studies to represent end-users Collaboration with and support of user-interface design team throughout the SDLC to ensure end user requirements are represented User experience consultation on special projects targeted at exploring end-user experience Presentation of findings to senior managers within the firm Manage projects from initiation through design phase with contextual understanding of firm-wide goals Understand business model, technology solutions, and end customers business Provide Information Architecture leadership and direction Job Requirements Bachelors required, Masters preferred in usability or related field Minimum Experience: 5 years as user-experience or human factors lead or manager; Financial industry experience preferred Software/System Skills Preferred: Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Office 2007 Required Skills: o Proven ability to lead projects and team o Strong knowledge and background in use-case analysis, heuristic analysis, and user personas o Experience with formal and informal usability testing techniques o Understanding of best practices in user interface design and information architecture o Very strong communication skills o Proven ability to manage milestones, deadlines, and scheduling for projects   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
