Job Description Engineer: Pilotfish, Business Problem Definition, Sftp, Java

[ START DATE : 01-09-2015

SUBMISSION DEADLINE : 01-02-2015 ]

Description:

Configure the Pilotfish FTP Listener to pull EMS files from the mainframe, initially using ftp and

then converting to sftp.

Configure the Pilotfish Socrata Transport to upload eLicensing data to Socratas Open Data

platform. Debug any issues with the Socrata Transport or Listener, implement error handling

and schedule periodic updates.

Solutions Architect: One Solutions Architect that will perform the PilotFish configuration,

programming and debugging for the mainframe ftp transport and the Socrata Transport

and Listener.

The Solution Architect that will developing the more complex solutions and addressing software

modifications within PilotFish technology core product will be at the “Solution Architect (2.4)

level” as described in the State of Connecticut Contract Award No. 12PSX0251and will have

the required skills and experience outlined below, to work with as part of the DAS/BEST Data

Services team.

The resource will have 7 years of experience leading PilotFish project implementations for

large client organizations.

• Demonstrated ability to understand business problems and offer technical solutions based on

the capabilities of the PilotFish product suite.

• Demonstrated experience using Java to extend and debug the PilotFish eiConsole and

eiPlatform products.

• Demonstrated ability to understand the application of a wide variety of technologies.

• Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining PilotFish technologies for mapping,

translation and transformation of interface data.

• Experience interfacing with mainframe via SFTP.
