This team is responsible for evolving our overall data strategy, defining governance and oversight and leading end to end architecture to support all foundational data for the company. This team utilizes and develops next generation analytic insights in order to meet our commitment to satisfy our customers financial needs. DMI defines how we use information across the company, align our business practices and support our continued focus on great customer experience and navigate our regulatory environment. The Data Management Solutions Services (DMSS) team within Data Management & Insights (DMI) is a new and growing organization. The teams mission is to enable enterprise data governance capabilities, such as metadata management, data control and quality, stewardship management, etc. The team manages these capabilities in alignment with the enterprise data strategy, technology architecture, policies, and other data governance needs across the Wells Fargo enterprise. This newly created role requires expert level understanding of metadata management concepts, experience with enterprise data governance capabilities, services and tools, and an ability to lead and influence discussions across a wide spectrum of audiences. The position will work closely with teams across the enterprise on metadata management initiatives, promoting understanding of enterprise standards and capabilities, and ensuring alignment with the enterprise data strategy and roadmap. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: •Builds and maintains relationships with internal clients to align their metadata practices with enterprise data governance policy, requirements, and capabilities •Provides leadership to partners across the enterprise on data governance policy and framework in support of the design and implementation of metadata solutions •Leads and designs communication, education, and evangelism around established metadata capture and maintenance practices •Represents the DMSS team in partner work efforts, providing data management experience, including an understanding of concepts, practices, procedures, and tools – providing strong analytical, innovative and creative problem solving skills •Coordinates with others across DMSS to ensure partner requirements are evaluated against enterprise product designs and implementation roadmaps •May mentor and direct the work of more junior staff, including different levels of team members and contractors spread across multiple businesses and geographies REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Default: 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic Planning. 3+ years of data management experience including data modeling, data integrity and data quality 4+ years of data analysis experience 4+ years of Metadata experience 2+ years of Governance and Compliance experience 4+ years of experience leading stakeholder teams to design and develop strategies incorporating the use of data DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience defining and/or developing business initiatives that require integration of multiple technology systems Knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements surrounding the financial services industry Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Other Desire Qualifications: · Experience in domain management,   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
