The Software Packaging Analyst position is a member of the IT team which packages and distributes applications to client computers on the ConocoPhillips network. Primary job duties will be to develop and test Microsoft windows installer-based software packages that perform silent and unattended application installations that are distributed by Microsoft SCCM to client computers or published through Citrix Studio. Responsibilities may include: Creation of software application packages Working with company-wide requestors to determine software configuration requirements and dependencies Working with end users to test and ensure proper application delivery and functionality Responding to customer requests/problems related to software packaging Provide application packaging and deployment consultation to functional teams or projects When needed, participating in 24x7x365 on-call support Assist with various IT projects as needed Basic/Required (candidate does not need to have all of these, but the managers ideal/preferred candidates would be able to check these off): 5+ years of experience creating, modifying, and troubleshooting software packages in a managed enterprise environment and use of the associated methodologies and technologies 5+ years of experience with technologies used to create .MSI based software packages (e.g. Flexera AdminStudio) 3+ years of experience with PowerShell scripting technology 3+ years of experience creating or setting up deployments using application model within Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 3+ years of experience supporting or troubleshooting Windows OS issues Ability to provide on-call support 24/7/365 as needed Other preferred experience: Experience with PowerShell App Deploy toolkit Experience setting up and configuring applications within Citrix Studio/XenApp Experience troubleshooting SCCM client issues and software deployment issues Experience with packaging workflow systems Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016 Experience with desktop and/or server virtualization technologies Able to work independently while maintaining a high level of productivity and quality Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills through the ability to troubleshoot both hardware and software problems   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
