The project administrator is ultimately responsible to the agency PM Role Description: Support PM in developing the detailed program plan for the SmartBus implementation program. Track task status and time/cost to complete. Update project plans to show current status and forecast completion dates/costs. Update capital planning documents. Update project status in monthly and quarterly reports. Track status of issues and risks. Administer budgets and schedules. Administer contracts with system suppliers and consultants. Capture and report program management metrics. Adjust and revise estimates when necessary. Document outcomes and issues discussed at meetings. Track and report project progress against the program plan. Administer project planning and tracking software. Prepare status reports on a periodic basis for project team, team leads, group leads, and program manager and appropriate stakeholders. Support agency PM in planning, organizing, prioritizing, and managing multiple work efforts across application and installation teams. Create presentations and briefing materials. Schedule status reviews, peer reviews, program management inspections, and software quality assurance work product and process reviews with the appropriate designated resources. Notify team leads of project timelines, milestones, phases, work requests, target dates, and approved work packages. Track and control scope changes. Analyze and distribute reports on program metrics. Assist agency PM in determining and documenting business needs, user requirements and final acceptance criteria for software and on-board equipment. Develop final acceptance test plans and test scenarios. Oversee quality assurance inspections and quality control activities. Review and verify technical documentation and user manuals for accuracy and comprehensibility.
