This recruitment is for one (1) Business Intelligence Certified Project Manager III. This position requires an individual who typically has 7+ years of business intelligence project management. Professional PMP certification is required.

The individual in this position will:

• Support project management on enterprise-wide business intelligence applications and architecture. Develops project charters, plans, deliverables, and other project artifacts.
• Works closely with the project sponsor and IT management to understand and prioritize project tasks. Solves technical problems. Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs a feasibility studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives in support of enterprise-wide business intelligence.
• Collaborates with the project team to meet project milestones. Adheres to standards, policies and procedures for the forms, structure and attributes of the business intelligence documentation, tools, and systems. Develops data/information quality metrics.
• Research new technology and develops business cases to support enterprise-wide business intelligence solutions. Participate in special projects as required.

Experience in building effective teams, successfully managing project timelines and budgets, as well as producing high quality project artifacts (charter, project plans, etc.) is required.

A strong understanding Kimball Data Warehouse design principals, experience in gathering requirements for data warehouse projects, and experience in design and development of data warehouse projects is required. Any experience with advanced analytics is preferred.

The individual in this position will also be responsible for researching new technology and developing business cases to support enterprise-wide business intelligence solutions.

Comments:

• Phone & Web Based interviews acceptable for interviews prior to final interview. An in-person interview may be required before a final hire is made.

• Candidate will also be required to complete any security training as directed by the division, department, or agency.
• The selected candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check.
• This position is budgeted for 1960 hours annually. Hours will be prorated the first year based on start date.
• DCF does not sponsor work visas, either at the time of hire or at any later date
• In coordination with the “Safer At Home” guidelines, contracted staff will work with their manger to access work remotely as needed temporarily. However, contract staff will be required to return to the home office for regular business hours as restrictions allow.
• Contract staff may be required to provide personal equipment for remote work while “Safer At Home” guidelines are in effect.
• Selected candidate must provide copies of any/all certifications as part of the hiring process.
