This position will manage the day to day activities for the project and complete all input to the State Project Portfolio Management (PPM) application. This position will directly manage on a daily basis project risks, cost, and schedule Required Skills: -At least 8 years of project management experience, preferably with large, complex automation implementation efforts. -Demonstrated Project Management experience on system deployments with multiple clients. -Proven track record of delivering IT projects within budget, scope and schedule. -Objective decision-making ability based on strategic objectives priority, business performance analysis and resource availability. -Hands on experience managing project risk, cost, schedule, quality, testing, and communications. -Strong supervision, organizational, interpersonal and time management skills. -Demonstrated presentation and training skills. -Demonstrated oral and written communication skills. -Solid work experience with project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project) -Hands on experience managing application acceptance testing -Demonstrated technical architecture/infrastructure knowledge and experience, including experience with multiple hardware platforms and operating systems -Experience with MS Office Desired Skills: -PMI certification Project Management Professional (PMP) -Hands on Experience with NC PPM tool -State Government experience -Demonstrated technical expertise with client server applications. -Experience implementing vendor packages.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
