Customers in the agency are internal users in Information Services * Identifying and participating in development of new agency policies and procedures that must be made as a result of systems using new technology and actively participate in making policy, integrating internal and external program and policy issues in implementation strategy and reviewing the implementation of systems for conformance to policies and objectives * Responsible for making independent strategic judgments and decisions, including: developing project strategy; planning all stages of project, from its initial concept to successful implementation; identifying which issues are critical and then planning best course for issue resolution; making decisions independently, in a timely and responsible fashion using a logical, rational approach and ensuring that all appropriate stakeholders are involved. * Perform and extensive analysis of systems, facts, figures, or similar information to determine the nature and scope of which need to be solved by project * Responsible to obtain and maintain executive commitment for assigned projects; establish and maintain user interest, support and acceptance for the project; involve users in the analysis, design, and review of the project, ensure user responsibility and accountability for success of the project * Plan, lead, organize, and control the work performed by the organization. Assure appropriate and optimum use of the organizations resources and enhance the effectiveness of employees through timely appraisal and professional development opportunities. Support effective communications throughout the organization.
