Six enterprise offices support the work of the agencys four program divisions. client employees are based in Atlanta, Cordele and across the state. This position will serve as the Project Manager for two large healthcare contract project implementations within the Medicaid Division. This position will be responsible for the following tasks: · implementing new contracts to include project plan and schedule development; · establishing strong rapport with internal business owners and sister project managers at contractor agencies; · identifying responsibilities and responsible parties for project governance and mechanism for tracking action items and activities; · monitoring due dates for completion of tasks and interdependences between activities and key milestones within the project; · development of risk tracking matrix, contingency and mitigation plans and implementation of the approved strategies; · assistance developing readiness review tools, communication and training plans; · coordinating with Departments IT and other State partners for deliverables review and testing (as applicable) to ensure deliverables and technology solution meet all business requirements; · conducting periodic meetings with business owners and other staff to including scheduling, agenda development, facilitating discussion and maintaining notes/minutes; · preparing weekly status reports and any other necessary project documentation; and · other duties as assigned.
