This candidate will manage complex work efforts; may have advanced education; may have deep industry experience. Position will manage a small database development project with multiple technology disciplines along with transition from contractors to state facilities (client). Position is responsible for project schedule, project documentation and deliverable conformance. This is inclusive of project gate passage documentation. Position will be well-versed in software and database development on relevant platforms. Person is responsible for cost to budget while keeping stakeholders informed of potential contractual budget changes. Work requires knowledge of project management plans, documentation, including communication, change, procurement and risks. Required Skills: * Project Management experience in database arena * Experience in creation and management of integrated project plan, execution of plan, project status, meetings, risk and issue tracking. * Flexible and ability to adapt to changing timelines and project scopes * Experience with projects comprised of multiple deliverables, inclusive of delegation and coordination of work tasks * Experience with project scope management, cost/budget compliance, quality, communications, and procurement practices * Experience with drawing projects through necessary user acceptance testing and closure * Excellent written and verbal communication Desired Skills: * Technical programming or database development background * Experience with internal and external project team negotiations * PMP Certification * Experience with development and execution of training and education on project requirements and methods   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
