Project Manager PMO Experience Manager (Jobs in Stockton, CA)   Requirement id 55117 Job title Manager Job location in Stockton, CA Skills required PMP Certification, Project Manager, Project Management, PMO Experience Open Date 25-Jul-2016 Close Date Job type Not specified Duration 6 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type --- Apply    Email Recruiter: Sukamal Chatterjee Job Description Manager: PMP Certification, Project Manager, Project Management, PMO Experience The CLient Purchasing and Support Services, hereafter referred to as “Purchasing”, is seeking proposals from interested and suitably qualified organizations to provide Project Manager Assistance to the SJGH Information Services Department, hereafter referred to as “SJGH ISD”. *Required Skills: *Work onsite at San Joaquin General Hospital a minimum of 32 hours per week for the duration of the 14-month project, and be flexible for periods that may require additional hours or days surrounding system go-lives, as specified by the SJGH CIO (CIO). *Effectively apply standard Project Management methodologies and enforce project standards. *Hold a current Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate. *Develop a sign-off process with project stakeholders for deliverables. *Manage project activities to ensure that all project participants are meeting goals and expectations as defined by the Project Plan. *Communicate project issues and risks to the CIO on a daily basis. *Prepare for and provide regular project reviews and status updates. *Identify risks and recommend avoidance and mitigation strategies to SJGH so projects stay on time, within scope and on budget for all assigned projects. *Be personable and work professionally and collaboratively with all project stakeholders in such a way that fosters teamwork and cooperation. *Have excellent verbal and written communication skills. *Be able to lead meetings, be articulate, and garner cooperation from other project participants. *Have a minimum 10 years IT experience in Project Management *Have a minimum of two (2) years IT experience in an Acute Care (Hospital) environment Have experience using professional Project Management tools. *Have a minimum of two (2) years experience working with hospital Applications teams to include interfacing/integration, report writing and programming, and be able to appropriately identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities. *Current experience working in a hospital environment that either was in the process of implementing an Electronic Health Record EIR, or has already implemented an EIR. *Current Project Management experience working in an Acute Care environment. *Current experience working in cross-functional team setting to include Information Systems Technical and Operational teams. *Current Health Information Exchange (HIE) project management experience. *Have at least one (1) year Project Management Office (PMO) experience. *Current experience mentoring and developing teams on project management techniques. *Have experience-using SharePoint. *Have a Bachelors degree or higher in project management, organizational management, engineering, marketing, finance or information technology.
