Responsibilities: - Creation of production automated deployment of software and tools. - Creates scripts to decrease manual deployment and maintains ledger of all installed software on systems - Works directly with Hadoop Admin using Cloudera Director to for cluster deployment. - Selection / Instrumentation of automation software - Lead DevOps effort for the Cloudera Cluster - Work with the technical staff to gather optimization constraints to guarantee applications and servers perform to specifications outlined by the Solutions Architecture. - Work with the customer converting existing manual deployment strategies to a more enterprise automated paradigm. Qualifications: Able to get Public Trust or Secret Clearance Education and Experience Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience. Often holds intermediate-level certification(s) in work field. Typically 5+ years of relevant experience. Knowledge and Skills Typical skills include: (Expert) in one or more technology sub-areas. (strong) understanding of related technologies. General Project Management. Influencing Others. Customer/Vendor Management. Candidates must have all required skills/experience to be considered.
