A phased, evolution implementation approach is being utilized and contracted services are necessary to provide project management, business analysis, quality assurance, development and application architecture support for the re-facing effort to move away from the current PowerBuilder client/server technology stack onto a new browser-based architecture. Intended Source: ServiceLogix, Inc., Denver, CO Price: Approximately $1,135,500, including travel expenses Justification: A Notice of Intent to make a Noncompetitive purchase was previously issued in the project planning phase to identify potential bidders that meet the needed specifications for this project. No known bidders were identified and ServiceLogix, Inc. was awarded that contract. ServiceLogix, Inc. is the only known vendor that has strong background in workers compensation industry, extensive knowledge/experience with WSIs current claims and policy systems, experience with re-facing systems for other workers compensation state funds, the resource capacity and skill sets necessary to complete the project according to the project schedule, expertise and experience necessary to manage and direct the project and successful implementations on a .Net platform using an agile methodology approach. Workers Compensation Insurance Vendor must have a strong background and knowledge of the business of workers compensation in a state fund environment. Resources Vendor must have resource capacity to fill the following roles with the number of resources identified for the entire duration of the project. It is anticipated that these resources will be needed on a full-time basis for the duration of the project with time split between onsite and offsite.
