The application software, eSoS, is the primary application used by the Office of the Secretary of State (NVSoS) for the purpose of processing; archiving and receipting Commercial Recordings business entity filings which generate $135 million annually in General Fund revenue. The current desktop, online application, and related system processes are being pushed to their limits and are failing more frequently as the complexity and volume of filings increases month after month. Increasingly, work stoppages are occurring because of a fragile and unstable platform which is not easily adaptable or supported by emerging technologies. The instability of the current system; along with the delays and limitations of the system, impact not only the revenue generated by entity filings but also threatens Nevadas reputation as an efficient and predictable filing state. The replacement of the existing system is to provide a modern application that will promote and enable increased self-service and be flexible and scalable to meet customer and business needs. The application must be able to provide desktop, online and direct filing processes. Helping to enable business filings, the application will accommodate the needs of the customer to file bulk filings and provide other more modern alternatives to human data entry. The application will meet all the State requirements for continuity, maintainability, security, and sustainability. SCOPE OF WORK Consultant must perform all activities to the agreed upon project plan/schedule. Work must be completed according to the specifications and standards set by the State. Report directly to the primary Project Manager; Provide weekly status reports detailing progress on assignments; Conduct meetings with Sponsors, Stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts documenting all requirements, questions and risks; As required by the Project Manager; attend, take notes and follow up on project meetings; Document and resolve issues; Secure acceptance and approval of project deliverables from Sponsors and Stakeholders; Oversee project tasks to completion; Track issues and bugs to resolution; Track all issues and report anything that may impact the project timelines immediately; Receive training within at least two (2) functional areas within the Commercial Recordings Business Division until proficient enough to fill the role as a Subject Matter Expert (SME); Review project requirements documents and use cases; Provide continuity of service, business knowledge, and expertise over the duration of the project; Facilitate the Design and Development project phases by interfacing between Design/Development Team, Commercial Recordings Division and Project Management; Develop Test Plans and Test Cases; Develop the Requirements Traceability Matrix; Conduct and oversee User Acceptance Testing; Develop Training Plan and Materials; and Conduct Training for end users in the Commercial Recordings division once the solution has been developed.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
