Soarian Pharmacy and the MAK barcoded medication administration system (BCMA) will also be included, along with the Talyst medication packaging and dispensing machines • The Sheriffs Office jail inmate management system (ATIMS) will need to provide patient location updates to the Talyst medication packaging and dispensing system • The Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI) will need to be enabled for ATIMS to avoid duplicate patients • Phase 2 of the project will include the Probation Offices Youth Services Center; the scope will be similar except there will be no Talyst machine implemented. The EMPI will also need to be enabled for the Probation Offices youth management system (PIMS) Summary: • The San Mateo County Health System (SMC Health) is searching for a consultant to serve as an Electronic Health Record (EHR) Project Manager for its EHR Program Office. The Project Manager will be responsible for completion of the following tasks: –? Planning/Kick-off: • Lead the project team under the direction of the EHR Program Director • Create a detailed project plan including the schedule, work breakdown structure and assign resources/ teams • Develop project tools (status report, sharepoint, agendas, minutes/action items, issues/risk lists, decision log, SBAR) • Develop communication and change management plans • Develop, communicate and oversee the training, testing and go-live/change/downtime/support strategies • Create and assist in presenting the kick-off presentation, including the implementation methodology • Facilitate the Project Steering Team and related activities/meetings/communications – Design/Build Phases: • Ensure adherence to implementation methodology and coordination of work between team members, third party contractors and vendors to deliver projects according to plan • Track and report project progress; capture minutes/action items and manage issues/risks • Escalate decisions/issues/risks to Project Steering Committee or EHR Program Director/Executive Steering Committee as appropriate • Extract drug file from old vendor system; identify required formulary changes and Talyst inventory – Design/Build Phases: • Ensure approval, completion and configuration of workflow design based on gathered requirements and system review • Ensure documentation of unique workflows for use in training and testing • Ensure approval, completion and build of application content based on gathered requirements and system review • Identify, build and test go-live critical reports • Work collaboratively with Information Services Department Project Manager (ISD PM) to ensure infrastructure readiness and device identification and deployment • Complete unit and system testing, including Registration, Clinical Documentation, Orders, Pharmacy, BCMA and Talyst testing • Complete required integration with Jail management system, EMPI and Talyst • Prepare for integrated testing event; reserve testing location, create integrated test scripts, identify testers • Prepare for training event; identify and train SuperUsers, reserve training location, create/consolidate training materials, identify and coordinate staff to be trained – Integrated Testing: • Conduct integrated testing event accordin   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
