This includes all service support and service management processes (in l ine with ITIL/ASL definitions) plus others which are required for a specific engagement. SDM roles ensure that the service to the client meets contractual requi rements and service level agreements (SLAs). Based on service delivery realization and deviation, the SDM agrees on service improvements together with the clien t. SDM includes the roles of Service Delivery Manager, Service Management Consultant, Service Coordinator, Service Administrator plus Change, Incident and Probl em Managers. It therefore covers tasks from logging & progressing problems & incidents to managing the quality and commercial success of a service to a client. Required Skills and Experience: You ensure that the managed areas within your service are performing to contractual targets and you identify service improvements where appropriate. In addition , you are acquiring a thorough understanding of the clients business and are starting to develop relationships with client representatives, identifying ways of adding value. You manage some aspects of day-to-day operations with a focus on achieving SLAs and KPIs for relevant areas. You are responsible for providing in -scope services for specific areas, with assistance from technical leads. Depending on the contract, you have a staff of 1-2 onshore resources. Qualification: Bachelors Degree Must have experience in Negotiating and Continuous (Service) Improvement. Should be proficient in Transition Management. Title ERP/QAD Service Delivery Manager Experience Level: Intermediate to Senior Qualifications: Experienced in ERP Platform Management skills with the experience leading a multi-location team; must be self-driven and assertive in moving project forward Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills required Experience deliverying ERP services to a global company and managing the associated P&L Experience / Expertise / Knowledge in o QAD eB 2.1 version and above o Progress 4GL ,Ecommerce, Qxtend o Unix skill (Scripting, Batch Jobs, CRON management etc) Development in .NETUI and Open edge would be an added advantage Functional expertise in SCM / /Manufacturing / Finance modules Worked in Global Multi National organization understanding requirements from global perspective Thorough understanding of SDLC processes and working experience in Requirement Analysis, Functional Specification preparation, Development, Testing and User Tr aining. Experience in Optio, Cyberquery would be an added advantage Experience in Peer testing and code reviews would be an advantage Automotive business domain knowledge Desirable, would be an added advantage Responsibilities Lead multi-location ERP team in client environment in support of application management and deployments of QAD / Progress DB ERP system Collaborate with teams supporting affected applications, business users and plants Lead an application teams of 50+ resouces in multiple locations supporting the operations, deployments and multiple projects across multiple clients.
