Support areas include facilitating the identification of service requirements, project planning, providing tactical advice to project management and liaison with user/functional management. IMPACT & INFLUENCE: This position will interact on a consistent basis with: project team management and personnel, user management, vendors and contractors. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties may include but are not limited to: Contribute to the formulating project goals, objectives, scope, schedules and resource requirements. Coordinate planning and monitor performance of project related work activities; advise project management accordingly Participate in interaction with functional users in addressing business needs and in executing change management programs required to meet those needs. Coordinate/facilitate communications with OIT Communications Team, project teams, customers and appropriate management. Participate in preparation and delivery of project status presentations. Provide input to formulating and managing project budgets. Coordinate acquisition of goods and contract services required for project support. Perform other related duties as assigned. EDUCATION, SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: Degrees required for this job: Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Degrees preferred: Years of experience required for this job: Two to four years job related experience Years preferred: Certifications or licenses required for this job: Certifications or licenses preferred: SPECIALIZED SKILLS: Specialized skills required for this job: This job requires working knowledge of and application of IT project management principles, components and processes.
