This role will be mostly managerial in nature but will require a solid understanding of the business process and an awareness of the integration activities of dependant systems. Project Managers are responsible for ensuring the delivery of products and services on time, within budget and scope and at highest levels of quality for CDM clients. Project Managers serve as the clients primary contact. Project Managers are responsible for planning, organizing and managing resources, cost and deliverables * Plan and manage project resources, time (hrs) timelines and milestones *Create and maintain detailed project plans including planned hours/effort, timelines and milestones *Primary client contact and responsible for defining communication plans *Lead client and internal project meetings and pro-actively communicate with all project stakeholders *Perform all PM responsibilities and activities within the tools and applications as used by eClinical (administer and maintain the projects): Be able to ensure that all ELC documentation and required stage gates are completed on time as required *Deliver on project management principles and best practices *Demonstrated ability to manage issues and risks, and an understanding of appropriate and timely escalation to senior management *Minimum four years in Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology industry or equivalent Senior Consulting or PM role involving clinical projects or data management *Prior CRO Project Management, Clinical or Data Management highly desirable *Proven ability to manage projects in a consulting environment (particularly fixed price) within budget and timeline; understands financial implications. *Solid understanding of Project Management principals and methodology * Experience working in a team environment with multiple parties * Experience working on global projects, specifically software implementations * Experience leading a small team of people (up to 10): Off shore management of personnel a MUST * Experience operating in a validated environment * Demonstrated supervisory skills * Excellent verbal, written, knowledge transfer and presentation skills * Detail oriented, ability to multitask with strong prioritization, planning and organizational skills * Has experience with conflict; has a high sense of urgency, is able to recognize self accountability and is able to pragmatically resolve tough issues * Has a proactive mentality, is high energy, is solution oriented and connects well internally and with clients * Has the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment * Clear understanding of the technology & associated dependencies between systems including an understanding of data migration, quality and integration technologies (e.g., ETL) * Demonstrated ability to work independently with very little supervision * BA/BS; Life Sciences, Healthcare, or Computer Science degree required Project Execution * PMI Certification preferred Technical Skills and Experience *Microsoft Office Applications; expert MS Project skills and Enterprise Project Server experience a must *Operating Systems: Windows 2000/XP *Databases: Oracle, SQL Server Strong familiarity with EDC and Clinical Data Management Systems: Rave, Clinical Data Loader, or Oracle Clinical preferred: Experience with Data Re   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
