Scope of Services Application Services is looking for a senior level Project Manager that is capable of working independently, has good communication and organization skills. The Project Manager must be able to follow State, Department, OIT and Application Services processes and procedures. This candidate must be a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute (PMI), have a working understanding of Oversight Project Management responsibilities, as well as a general understanding of IT State procurement methods and practices. The candidate must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques. They must be capable of managing multiple large and/or cross-functional projects of medium to high complexity that have a greater impact to the enterprise. Experience Eight years of professional experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field may be substituted for Bachelors Degree. Job Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) 1. Knowledge of various types of contracts, and development techniques for procurement documents such as; Requests for Quotes (RFQ), Requests for Purchase (RFP), Invitation to Bid (ITB), Invitation to Negotiate (ITN), and Single Source. 2. Knowledge of the Florida Department of Management Services (DMS) State Purchasing Guidebook to Public Procurement and Florida Statute and Florida Statue, 287.057 Procurement of commodities or contractual services. 3. Knowledge of geographic information systems and geospatial technologies preferred. 4. Knowledge of the principles, methods, practices, tools and techniques outlines in Project Management Body Of Knowledge (PMBOK) 5th Edition. 5. Skill in the use of the methods and tools used for risk assessment and mitigation of risks. 6. Ability to coordinate and manage projects and resources from a high level, including cost, work, and Vendor performance. 7. Ability to categorize work, set priorities, and determine short and/or long-term goals and strategies to achieve them. 8. Ability to put the ideologies, techniques, and tools into practice. 9.
