The Contractor must provide a detailed description and firm, fixed price for each deliverable. The description must specify the tasks to be completed for each deliverable and the time frames in which the tasks must be completed. The Departments overall goal is the successful implementation of the Unemployment Insurance (UI) system per the UI Modernization RFP. Effective management of the project will be key to the projects overall success. This PAQ requests project management services to fulfill the ITSDs Project Manager (PM) responsibilities on the UI Mod project. It is the ITSDs goal to eventually manage and support the UI Modernization solution, UInteract. Therefore it is critical that ITSD staff are fully involved in the project. The objectives of the Project Manager in working with the ITSD are as follows: •The State Project Management Team consists of the ITSDs CSM and the DES Chief of UI Modernization. Work with State Project Management Team to assign project tasks; •Establish the necessary working relationships with State and solution vendor staff to ensure the project teams work together. Facilitate the decisions required to support progress, address issues, and mitigate risks. •Aligning all project management processes, project activities, and related work plans for the ITSD , collaborating closely with the solution vendors project manager to ensure the project is performed per the vendors proposed solution; •Ensuring project leadership by establishing and supporting the overall governance structure for the program; •Supporting effective project execution by developing the WBS addressing ITSD components of the project, coordinated with the project plan provided by the solution vendor. o ITSD Components: Initive Leads Java Developers Data Conversion Image Conversion SDC •Ensuring the solution vendor is developing, reviewing, and maintaining project artifacts including risk and issue matrices, communication plans, and project status reports per the UI Mod RFP and the solution vendors proposal. •Ensure Change Requests follow established contractual procedures. •Responding to issues and concerns raised by the Independent Validation and Verification (IV&V) and ITSC team and take appropriate corrective action; •Working closely with the the DES Chief of UI Modernization to ensure minimal impact to Department operations through effective operation and performance of the UI Mod solution during transition to the new work processes and solutions.
