The resource must have the technical experience and knowledge to perform the following: Serve as Project Manager and utilizes tools like Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio. Establish and manage project timelines. Communicate Divisions IT perspective to vendors of CNPEARS and COMPASS systems. Review and trace system design documentation. Work with technology contractor and content experts in the Division to identify system requirements and design, specifically for CN PEARS and COMPASS. May be asked to attend system requirement and design sessions on behalf of PDE. Review system design documents, in consultation with content experts, to insure documents capture all aspects discussed in design sessions. Review reports from contractor to ensure charges match deliverables. Track changes/updates to the existing CNPEARS and COMPASS systems and maintain change request log to ensure they are properly resolved. Assist Division staff with identifying and testing scenarios. Lead testing of system design changes for Division staff. Organize deployment of new technology features. Follow through and communicate with staff at all stages of development and production. Plan training and orientation and participate in delivery of training as applicable. Assist in responding to IT related audit inquiries. Technical Skills Required: Comprehensive understanding of SQL 2005 databases. Experience with VB.Net Experience with ASP.Net Experience writing advanced SQL queries. Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle. Technical expert in Web-based Microsoft technologies. Excellent communication skills are necessary to correspond verbally and in writing with vendors, division staff, and end-users.
