Track course of project from meetings, conferring with developers, and receiving reports. Update project plan as needed. Document changes to scope or functionalities with change ticket, project plan, or other format. Assess compliance of development process with accepted methodology and communicate to responsible managers or staff. Document exceptions or deviations as needed. Convene meetings and plan agenda to ensure important issues are aired and resolved. Report on progress of project, use of staff, $ expenditures, progress on milestones and the like to application owners. Provide guidance to project staff; may manage staff of analysts who are developing technical specifications or developers who are coding. May plan, document, manage and evaluate staff performance, or contribute to evaluation by their managers. Contribute to professional or technical development of less experienced staff by mentoring or training. Qualifications EDUCATION Bachelors Degree or equivalent required MINIMUM EXPERIENCE 6+ years of related experience SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS Good understanding of Information Security tools and concepts Experience managing COTS and/or Infrastructure projects Experience with large scale infrastructure implementations Knowledge of Agile and enterprise scale project implementations Background in program management Excellent written and verbal communication skills Process analysis and systematic thinking Ability to operate at strategic and tactical levels and communicate effectively with clients, developers and end users Ability to prioritize among a large number of requirements PMP certification desired Experience with industry leading Enterprise Project Portfolio Management tools desired Job Information Support the DNS structure for the companys network. Develop and maintain software tools that help manage a corporate network or client/server or internet/ intranet system. Maintain COTS tools that help manage a corporate network. This position will also provide guidance to junior staff on the team. Key Job Functions Develop tools using Perl that make managing the network from routers and switches to load balancers and proxy servers easier to do. Support the DNS and DHCP environment for the company by responding to configuration and tier 3 troubleshooting requests. Support the Radius and TACACS environment for the corporation.
