In this role, you will act as a Servant Leader who will enable your squads to deliver maximum business value. Coach team members, proactively eliminate barriers, and facilitate team delivery on sprint goals. Work closely with the team members, Product Owner, and stakeholders to support Sprint and Release Planning, foster team self-awareness, encourage cross-training, decision-making and continuous improvement. Job activities will include the full suite of scrum ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives. Supporting activities will include: scheduling meetings, booking rooms and resources, organizing venues, taking minutes, creating presentations, document management, and more. Job Requirements: Self-motivated and a team player to help and guide the team to remove impediments by connecting with the right individuals Ability to Manages interdependencies between agile teams. Overall facilitation, communication, organization, negotiation, planning in support of the PO Development Team. In addition, work with other POs and scrum teams to support their needs or requirements for connection with the team. Proven knowledge and understanding of a variety of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc) Maintain Kanban and Scrum boards as appropriate, including updating User Stories and Epics with Agile Teams input Ability to work independently with little to no supervision, as well as work as part of a team Facilitate SCRUM and SAFe related ceremonies (i.e PI, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Scrum/Sprint Meetings, etc.) Monitor and maintain backlog and project tasks Gain team approval of completed stories and features Participate in the continuous updating and accurate generation of backlog items Coordinate resources (scrum team) by facilitating their assignment to stories/tasks Ability to plan and forecast the number of deliverables possible in a PI iteration Efficient and able to prioritize, assign and track tasks Ability to Self-Organization Identify and raise issues, risks, and impediments; and seek recommend action(s) to resolve Oversee scrum process and coach the team on how to use scrum and Agile practices and methodology. Understand, coordinate and resolve Interdependencies between Agile teams. Develop and maintain features and backlog priority with the assistance of product owner Develop and review project status and reports, including burn down charts and velocity diagrams Prepare and/or edit meeting minutes and presentations Monitor all project documentation for completeness and for version control Collaborate with the Product Owner to support short and long-term release planning, and to keep work backlog healthy and prepared for execution. Work with product owner to align team with the product vision, spring goals, and other necessary information Create an environment of collaboration and open dialogue to facilitate productive conflict resolution; clear impediments for the team. Advise team through professional facilitation, coaching, conflict management, and mediation in order to assist with development of high-performance teams. Advanced presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills including strong presentation skills.
