Job Title: Data Quality Engineer Location: Fort Mill, SC This is 100% Onsite requirement. NO REMOTE OR NO HYBRID Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python to ensure the quality of Varicent products. Work closely with product and engineering teams to understand features develop and automate test cases improve product quality. Perform database testing to validate data integrity and accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop test plans. Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify defects and ensure product quality. Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous testing. Document test cases, test results, and defects in a clear and concise manner. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the quality of the codebase. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in test automation and database testing. Hands-on knowledge in any of the cloud provider like AWS, Azure etc. Also exposure to services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda etc. Create and maintain test data and test environments. Troubleshoot and debug issues in test scripts and test environments. Mentor and train junior team members on test automation best practices. Collaborate with developers to ensure testability of code and coverage of test cases. Write and execute complex SQL queries (Joins, Rank, Union etc.) to validate data integrity and accuracy. Perform data validation and data quality checks. Develop and maintain database testing scripts and tools. Collaborate with database administrators to resolve database-related issues. Configure and customize Varicent products to meet business requirements. Develop and maintain Varicent reports and dashboards. Perform Varicent system testing and validation. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Varicent configurations and integrations. Provide training and support to end-users on Varicent functionalities. Work within Agile teams to deliver high-quality database solutions. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Must Have skills: ETL process, Database Testing and SQL (Complex queries) Hands-on experience in any of the cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure etc.) Java or Python programming skills (Any framework – Selenium, PyTest etc.) Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions). API Test automation Agile methodologies Good communication Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience with Varicent products and their implementation. Strong proficiency in Python programming and automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, PyTest). Experience with database testing, including writing and executing SQL queries. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Agile methodologies. Preferred Knowledge and Skills: Experience with other automation tools and frameworks. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). Experience with RESTful API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI). Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git). Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices. Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
