This Engineer will work on developing tools/utilities and designing solutions so that they can be used in different use cases. Need experience across multiple programming languages and scripts such as (Java, .Net, C, Perl, Python etc.) Must have experience with Windows and Linux Server operating systems. Need to be capable of creating technical/engineering documentation and have great written and oral communication. Information Security knowledge is a plus, but not required. Participates in interactions with encryption technology vendors – helps to ensure vendor product engineering is in line with the objectives and security requirements of Wells Fargo and coordinates with the vendor support team to ensure issues impacting Wells Fargo are resolved quickly and effectively. Participates in interactions with technical, engineering and non-technical partners across the Enterprise for technologies listed above. Required Skill Set/Experience: Perl or Python or Hadoop development Unix/Linux scripting experience. 2+ year(s) Perl or Python coding experience. 1+ year(s) Advanced problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities Must be organized and have rigorous attention to detail Proven written and verbal communication skills with both Business/Management and Technical/Engineering resources Ability to work effectively under aggressive timelines Skills that would be a Plus: Experience with security applications and systems Experience with multiple DB platforms such as SQL, Oracle, MySQL, Sybase, DB2 in the role of either Database Engineer and/or Database Analyst Intermediate to advanced capability with Windows/Unix/DB scripting and server/application process automation Strong understanding of or experience with Server/Database/Application encryption technology, encryption key management and information security policies Experience with Mainframe environment and COBOL programming as a part of integrating it with open distributed applications.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
