Looking to build a frontend portal that they can publish to their customers to allow self-services for config mgmt., changes, register servers for backup tools, inventory on servers being backed up, Windows/Linux and Unix. This is the idea –with that they will automate deployments, configuration management (check if a server is enabled, etc.), looking to reboot the server from the portal, to automate and provide a portal to an end user that doesnt necessarily have access to a server but is owner of an app, want to empower the customer to perform some of these operations and base lining of the OS/server, etc. Would be nice to have as many of these as possible: Looking to build a team – looking for folks with different knowledge in order to combine the efforts Ansible / Ansible Tower (5 YOE) Version Control: Bitbucket/Git Documentation: Confluence AWS Cloudformation Artifactory UNIX, Linux, Windows Ideally looking for a Senior Ansible Engineer to install, deploy and maintain (5 years of experience). Ultimately they know they will not find someone with all of these tools but would like to review candidates and put together a team to balance skill sets. Current Environment: Ansible Ansible Tower Python (for when automation cannot be done with Ansible) Jenkins Git Confluence UNIX, Linux and Windows Other Information: Build and Deploy scripts – automate some of the daily operation process, including servers (Linux, Windows, UNIX) – automate the volume of user requests CloudFormation is being used by the cloud team – used to create instances, load balances, build a platform around AWS. Automate deployment to the cloud. Do the changes through version control, deploy using Jenkins to AWS. Python – in some cases based on the HM experience - when you cannot accomplish everything with Ansible – they would use Python for automation.
