Ensure that applications can be continuously released with high levels of confidence while also improving the scalability, reliability, quality, and performance of the Continuous Delivery/DevOps build systems. Collaborate across teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Work with the developers and systems engineers to solve critical problems and identify efficiencies in implementing technical and functional requirements and tasks. Working closely with product owners, stakeholders, business analysts, project managers, and other development teams to define the requirements and to create quality code. Assisting with creating project resource estimates, metrics to track completion phase, defect reports, defect prevention, development efficiency and quality. Required Skills: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent 4+ years of experience coding solutions in Python. 2+ years hands-on experience designing and developing applications in Python. Prior working experience in designing and delivering applications with AWS Lambda. Prior working experience building applications on cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services (AWS). Expertise in iterative development, leveraging continuous integration, scripting and automation for high-performance development Demonstrated analytical skills Desired Skills and Qualifications: Experience working on software development contracts for the Federal government in an Agile DevOps environment. Modern software engineering practices including BDD, continuous integration, continuous deployment, TDD, pair programming, unit testing, refactoring, emergent design, automated builds Database experience such as DynamoDB.
