Here are the details: Position: Learning Health System Applications BA Duration: 6+ months Location: Cambridge, MA Description: We are searching for an experienced individual who can work as a business systems analyst with the Value Based Medicines (VBM) Multiple Sclerosis Partners Advancing Technology & Health Solutions (MS PATHS) program to develop and operationalize the Learning Health System (LHS). We seek an experienced candidate who can work independently, can take initiative to drive the objectives forward, which are focused on adding value to the operations and deliverables of the MS PATHS data within the Learning Health System. This role will report to the business owner of LHS with daily responsibilities as directed by the LSH engineering team. The person in this role will work with the LHS team creating a robust operation for the MS PATHS LHS. Tasks will include but are not limited to: 1. Systems and process analysis work 2. Provide responsive support, maintain and troubleshoot LHS data flow (e.g., ingest, quarantine, harmonization, transfer, maintenance) 3. Analyze data ingest process using SQL queries 4. Identify data issues with root cause analysis 5. Ability to propose changes to remediate immediate issues as well as propose long-term solution 6. Propose changes to improve the daily operations of the LHS 7. Ability to multi-task and interact with various system and business stakeholders (e.g., HIE broker, network team, direct source systems) Qualifications: - Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare data and clinical systems a must. - Must have progressive experience in projects involving health care informatics, interfaces and data types: HL7 and C-CDA/CDA XML for EMR, DICOM, JSON files. - Experience with Amazon Web Services / AWS (nice to have) - Experience with SQL queries, R or Python skills a plus - UNIX skills desired - Process analysis – ability to facilitate conversations and document the end-to-end (E2E) data flow for each data type using clear process flow diagrams and succinct text. - Develop recommendations on how to improve operations, with specific actions and recommendations on supporting resources - Talent for working with data, troubleshooting, analytics - Ability to gain consensus on issues when there are conflicting points of view - Proven attention to detail and ability to analyze, deconstruct and translate requirements into data and system specifications. - Ability to lead teams through various options, use cases, and/or scenarios to come up with the best solution, and potentially a phased approach, for earlier wins - Project Management, especially working on a team in 2-week sprints, i.e. familiarity with Agile Scrum processes. - Experience working with outside vendors on implementations of software. - Collaborative attitude to work with VBM and Accenture as a partner, so that data isnt “thrown over the wall”, but successfully managed from source to target. - Strong analytic capability to diagnose problems and develop solutions. - Technical acumen to be able to work with the data and engineering team on troubleshooting data flow issues and designing solutions, and more importantly, operational procedures to correct the problems.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
