A Day In The Life Could Include: (job responsibilities) What You Will Need To Bring With You: (experience & education required) Work with product managers and clients to understand the business opportunity and shape a meaningful approach Leverage AWS lake formation scripts/templates to deploy effective data lake Coordinate with authentication, IT, program manager and SMEs/stakeholders to build an effective project plan and work with development team to capture/relay meaningful requirements and system integrations Determine relevant data elements and analyze for process flow consistency Work with data engineers and/or data analysts to procure data and analyze for data quality and distribution; ensure key elements are harmonized and prepared for effective relational data structures Catalog data elements in coordination with analysts, IT, process SMEs and data engineers Collaborate with project managers and program manager to present resulting product to stakeholders; lead knowledge transfer Work with developers to automate and move final data lake structure into production status, with supporting IT resources prepared to manage ongoing assets and process changes Develop strategy to ensure data engineering/developer capability is capable of supporting any new services and architecture elements introduced A minimum of 5 years experience designing, implementing, delivering, and managing end-to-end data infrastructure solutions; 3+ years contemporary, hands-on experience specific to cloud-native, automated data lakes AWS Certified Solution Architect Hands-on experience with: Glue, RedShift, S3, distributed computing ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark, etc.), Docker / Kubernetes, Lake Formation Outstanding communication skills that enable effective project delivery and drive positive key discussions with customers, stakeholders, and developers Demonstrated success leading collaboration across a global development team, within a large enterprise environment Hands-on experience collaboratively developing code in object-oriented language (Python, JavaScript, Java, etc.) Expertise in tuning and cost-optimizing dynamic performance requirements Understanding of contemporary database technologies and experience automating data integration with complex ERP, CRM instances; significant API configuration/integration expertise Bachelors degree in relevant field What Will Put You Ahead: Other Considerations: Experience leveraging contemporary MDM and data quality tools and processes Experience using Matillion with Redshift or Snowfl   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
