Job Description : Metrics Programmer Contract to Hire Jersey City, NJ This primary responsibility of this role is to program and automate data metrics in support of application development prioritization and efficiency to drive program decision making. Key responsibilities include: This candidate will be responsible for the development, maintenance and automation of data analytics and KPIs in support of application development program decision making and reporting. Program data queries, primarily in Python, to pull and conglomerate the data into agreed formulas as well as automate these queries Provide guidance on KPIs and reporting to meet business objectives Aggregating metadata to build profiles of teams and users Building data workflows to pull, manipulate, and output across variety of streams Conducts studies to provide additional facts needed to make informed decisions with regard to measurements in the application development arena Design and create logical/physical data models and data dictionaries to meet program goals Identify data automation opportunities Working with teams to identify and gather data as well as understand and validate data analysis and KPIs Validating and questioning data quality, investigating upstream sources and output processes Document built procedures Qualifications: Bachelors degree, preferably in computer science, mathematical sciences, or information technology 2-5 years of experience in data munging, data modeling, data analysis in python or R as well as experience in SQL Experience with database design or enterprise storage a plus   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
