Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering community Collaborate with engineering and product development teams Deliver on timeline commitments where necessary Build trust and strong relationships at all levels Qualifications & Experience BS. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or similar quantitative fields desired 3+ years in the healthcare industry and knowledge of their business practices. Must have design, developed, and supported a complex software solution. Proficient in SQL a must Familiarity with all stages of the product development cycle. Experience maintaining engineering best practices, including defect tracking, design reviews, and appropriate testing required Experience with cloud environments preferred 5+ years of experience in application development preferred 5+ years of experience in at least one scripting language (Python, Perl, JavaScript, Shell) desired 3+ year experience working on streaming data applications preferred 3+ years of experience with Agile engineering practices a plus 3+ years of experience developing Java based software solutions preferred 3+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux including basic commands and shell scripting desired 2+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) a plus 2+ years of experience with Ansible / Terraform desired Strong organizational and problem-solving skills a must Pragmatic, product-oriented approach required Ability to work cross-functionally with minimal supervision a must Desirable Qualities: Strike a balance between critical thinking and actual hands-on analyses. Keen interest in learning data science while bringing engineering rigor to the team. Must have design, developed, and supported a complex software solution.
