Worth, TX Contract: 12+ Months We are looking for a candidate who has a blend of functional and technical skills to support the migration of a suite of Excel based planning tools that are currently using a file based structure to a database driven architecture. Candidate will work with a data architect to redesign/model, create the back-end database, develop & automate data workflows & pipelines. In addition, the candidate will assess the impact from migrating to a database driven architecture and update a Python based analytics engine that is currently reading data from a file based structure. While we migrate the architecture, during the transition period, candidate is also expected to support the current architecture including performing data updates on a Daily/Weekly basis which are a mix of manual and automated sources, including Alteryx workflows and Python scripts. They will also be responsible for validating the data before the end users start using the tools. MUST HAVE SKILLS: · Four or more years with database design/model, implementation, DDL scripting (Tables/indexes etc), DML (Stored procedures/SQL Script), SQL Performance Tuning models, databases, data processing and manipulation using SQL (SQL Server), Alteryx. · Three years of hands on Python experience · Prior experience in Supply chain, specifically with inventory planning & forecast models · Ability to support excel based tools, debug VBA and Python code to resolve issues · Ability to communicate effectively with end users · Experience analyzing business improvement · Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills · Working knowledge of system and data architecture DESIRED SKILLS: · Working knowledge of Oracle, Hive (Hadoop), Teradata · Strong analytical and technical skills. · Three or more years of working with Microsoft excel, specifically with VBA code · Strong verbal and written communication skills. · Capability to engage and influence collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. · Solid business process background with a blend of technology EDUCATION: · Bachelors degree   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
