Role Details: The team works to create models that assist with time series regression/continuous datasets, supervised categorical, and unsupervised clustering/association problems. Candidate will be expected to gather historical and financial data from internal and external sources. The team is looking for a data scientist with good statistic, innovation and modeling skills to leverage statistical methods, hyper-tuned ensembles, and deep learning frameworks we look to forecast and predict: Nodal and Regional Prices Wind speeds and weather conditions Generation Renewable stacks and loads Peaks and extreme conditions In the coming year we will be working on projects in the following areas: Look at irradiance and establish correlation between weather conditions and pricing in solar plants New bidding strategy as a financial product Association between storm/extreme weather and pricing/generation data Day-ahead and real-time pricing strategy leveraging amount offered as a risk parity from observed historical trends 3 MUST HAVE technologies or required experience of the position?
