Develops accurate, credible and relevant data for business partners. Leads data quality initiatives and audits to ensure the accuracy of internally and externally reported information. Collaborates with Enterprise Data Management & Analytics, Data Governance and Business Partners. Job duties and responsibilities: Management of Data: Oversees data elements such as reference data and business rules Data Analysis: performs complex data analysis and related environmental statistics such as record counts, volumes, exceptions, etc.; identify and determine root cause for data quality items impacting the business; recommends solutions and strategies; maintains and reports scorecard metrics. Communication and Relationships: initiates, develops and maintains collaborative relationships with key business partners; participates in related meetings/conversations and is able to effectively exchange information with leaders, business partners and less experienced staff. Independently provide expertise in one or more aspects of data and analytics to ensure the quality and reliability of data being used in decision making. Consult on moderately complex data and analytic projects to improve efficiency and quality of data. Work with partners in assessment, planning, development, and/or implementation of data and analytic practices through development of standards and practices, clarification and/or implementation of requirements, development and use of audit and other controls, and communication of status and metrics. Responsible for identification, planning, mapping, analysis, synthesis and/or audit of complex data. Identify data risks and opportunities by participating in reviews, evaluations, and analysis. Determine the cause of risk and suggest approaches to improve results.
