The recruit will be assigned maintenance fixes using ALM (HPs Application Lifecycle Management application) by the projects Team Lead. The recruit will then work with the team lead to estimation the total effort to complete the task. The recruit will analyze the issue, design a solution and present that solution for peer review. Once approved, create unit test cases, develop the fix or make the code changes, test the code until the all the unit test cases pass. The recruit maintains the documentation during this process. The change is then moved into Functional Testing where more testing is performed but no additional code changes. After passing the functional testing and the test information is added to the documentation then the fix is Q/A Reviewed where everything is reviewed by a peer. A portion of the Q/A review is conducted live with the recruit and the reviewer. If there are any issues identified in the Q/A review the issue is sent back for correction and will need to go thru the functional testing and Q/A review again. After the Q/A Review the issue is submitted for User Acceptance Testing and Review (UAT) by the client before the change is moved to Production. · The recruit will also be expected to perform peer reviews on the work completed by others on the project but only after becoming more experienced. · Some assignments are for small enhancements which follow the same steps as above but would have a requirements gathering and writing task at the beginning along with a requirements review. Depending on the size of the enhancement the reviewers may include the PM and/or the Client. There are also administrative tasks that will need to be completed. The project team members all have specific tasks that are assigned, such as maintaining the Data Backups, or assembling the bi-monthly deliverable or maintaining the project SharePoint site. Skills Required: · Strong Knowledge in Natural/ADABAS older version near v6.1/v3.3 (at least 4 years of recent work in Natural; 4 of the last 6 years) · Previous work experience on a maintenance project (work end to end) (1 year experience in the last 10 years) · Previous successful work experience on a virtual team (2 years of experience in the last 10 with 1 in the last 4) · Experience writing Use Case documentation used for requirements and design documents.
