The candidate will be supporting The Ohio Department of Transportations Transportation Information Mapping System (TIMS), Collector and GIS Centralization Project. The ideal candidate would have the technical qualifications specified below • Provide direct support of various CADD/GIS software and hardware systems. • Perform software testing and routine maintenance. • Assist in troubleshooting CADD/GIS system hardware problems and work with the appropriate service and warranty vendors to make the necessary repairs and fixes. • Track version upgrades and notify proper parties of available updates to CADD/GIS Systems software. • Assist with phone and online problem reporting and maintaining problem report records. • Maintain current inventory of all hardware, software, upgrades and fixes for each site. • Maintain configuration charts of current inventory. • Maintain data backups and data archives and provide data retrieval from backup. • Monitor system status and data integrity. The ideal candidate will have the following skills: • Experience with ERSI Desktop • GIS data creation, editing and maintenance • GIS analysis Day-to-Day Responsibilities would include: • Supporting the TIMS (Transportation Information Mapping System) by performing system testing, developing new maps for the system, assisting in organizing business requirements for updates, providing customer support • Supporting the use of the Collector for ArcGIS data collection app by assisting in organizing business requirements, assist with the development of solutions (create feature classes, related tables, test new solutions, build ArcGIS Online Webmaps, field test solutions) • Develop webmapping applications using tools like the ESRI WebAppBuilder or similar • Perform Hardcopy map production • Perform GIS analysis, QA/QC data for customers Other similar duties as assigned   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
