This is a fully seasoned professional level capable of independently carrying out most assignments typical of the profession. Supervision Received Works under very general supervision. Depending on organization structure, may work independently with responsibility for an assigned function or program. Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Typical projects assigned might include issues affecting multiple systems or departments, software selection, or significant changes in processes. Configures system settings and options. Plans and executes business unit, integration and acceptance testing. Creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. May provide consultation to users regarding automated systems. Decision Making Selects from multiple procedures and methods to accomplish tasks. Applies organizational policies; may interpret organizational policies and recommend exceptions. Establishes work methods, timetables, performance standards, etc. Leadership Provided Routinely provides work group leadership, guidance, and/or training to less experienced staff. May lead cross functional team to address business issues. Qualifications - External Minimum Qualifications – Education and Experience Bachelors degree in computer science (equivalent professional experience may be considered for substitution for the required degree on an exception basis) 3 to 5 years of QA/QC experience. Preferred Education & Experience Masters degree in computer science (equivalent professional experience may be considered for substitution for the masters degree on an exception basis) with 5 – 8 years directly related professional Licensures and Certifications IIBA certification and/or Lean Six Sigma preferred Essential Capabilities and Work Environment Required physical, lifting, and sensory capabilities are requirements to perform the job successfully.
