Position Description: Experience Level: Bachelors degree plus 5-7 years related experience including familiarity with testing automation tools Description: Creates, prepares and implements systems quality assurance reviews for numerous applications. Responsible for primary development of testing strategies. Consults with users, providing advice and direction. Performs more complex analysis of business requirements and system specifications. May serve as a coordinator for all testing activities on a project. Creates test plans and scripts for own projects. May lead and review test plans written by others. Performs moderately complex to complex test data conditioning, regression testing and testing validation. Provides specific guidance on defects to developers. Gives direction to less experienced analysts. Logs, tracks, and verifies resolution of software and specification defects. Documents all phases of the Systems QA process. Mortgage experience is highly preferred for this role. Previous CORE experience would be useful. The primary role for this position will be executing functional test scripts and performing moderately complex to complex test data conditioning, regression testing and testing validation. Minimum Qualifications BA/BS degree and 5+ years related experience including familiarity with testing automation tools. Experience to be defined as: 3+ years proven experience with various testing tools and products such as Quality Center and Clear Quest 5+ years of experience handling the QA Activities for multiple projects and directives and work in a fast-paced, highly integrated and systemic work environment Demonstrated collaboration skills and ability to work cooperatively with peer managers to achieve common business goals Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills and a comfort level in communicating with individuals and groups Proven communication and facilitation s! kills and the ability to influence parties with diverse interests Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict Proven strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience in developing test plans, test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and expected results Proven ability to understand complex test environments and configurations, and manage testing efforts from planning through execution Ability to develop and implement best practices and procedures in a complex and high-volume environment Proven track record managing multiple concurrent testing efforts and code streams Preferred Skills Experience in mortgage banking industry Experience in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Experience in defect tracking, reporting, and metrics for testing Experience in knowledge-based/rule-based systems using commercial knowledge-based systems environments Experience with web applications.
