The Project Assurance Analyst is responsible for planning, coordinating, and staffing quality improvement projects (learning collaboratives) in pediatric medical practices that will lead to sustainable changes in practices resulting in improved quality of care and outcomes for children and families in Idaho. Experience: Four years of quality assurance experience Education: • Four year college degree in Nursing, social science, behavior science, public health, management; OR • Masters degree in related area (MHA, MPH, MPA, MBA); OR • Equivalency plus two years clinical or related hospital experience Description of skills and knowledge include: • Excellent written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills • Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills • Strong facilitation skills • Ability to coordinate with diverse audiences • Experience with survey data collection analysis and evaluation • Experience preparing proposals for funding opportunities • Ability to learn quickly and independently • Experience with adult education Responsibilities 1. Plan learning collaboratives by working with planning committee to research best practices and resources, recruit speakers and peer mentors, design curriculum, create tools, design data collection and evaluation, and recruit practices. 2. Plan, organize, prepare for, and conduct learning collaborative sessions. 3. Administer process for participants to receive credits toward licensure and certification. 4. Support practices throughout collaborative lifecycle with mentoring, resources, data collection and reporting, and sharing of lessons learned across participating practices. 5. Conduct collaborative wrap-up activities including post-survey and analysis, evaluation, and publishing-related support (if publishing). 6. Support the Childrens Healthcare Improvement Collaborative (CHIC) project and other relevant committees as needed. 7. Participate in on-going Idaho improvement partnership needs assessment to identify improvement opportunities and topics for future learning collaboratives. 8. Foster relationships with partner organizations. 9. Participate in preparing proposals for funding opportunities. 10.
