This role will identify and implement best of breed testing strategies and tools to optimize Visual Studio Team Foundation (Coded UI) in a purely Microsoft-based ASP MVC shop. This role will also provide mentoring, guidance, and perspective to other members of the Experis team as well as client personnel. As a member of the Delivery Services team you will educate others regarding automation test quality management issues and champion the Quality Assurance teams. Responsibilities - Ability to manage change during the engagement and adjust timelines and client expectations according to what is learned in the discovery phase of test automation - Build framework, automated scripts, and manage the overall automation test process, according to Agile/Scrum and/or waterfall methodology. -Report on progress of the automated test process. -Continuously evaluate and recommend improvement to overall test processes (manual and automated) -Identify and evaluate tools to support the automation function executing proof of concepts where appropriate. - Develop automated testing strategies and plans for the enterprise. - Lead and define test strategies potentially across Experis and client teams. - Lead implementation of automated testing strategy. - Prepare, specify, and execute test cases and scenarios using Visual Studio TFS - Identify and report project risks early in the development effort. - Control and manage daily test activities through daily Agile Scrum stand-up meetings. - Manage Day-to-Day activities and schedules. - Providing mentoring and direction to the Experis team and client team(s). Qualifications - B.S. Degree, Computer Science, MIS or related work experience. - 2+ years experience participating in complex test programs. - At least 4+ years experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Development Test Analysis. - At least 4+ years experience with Quality Assurance and Software Testing Tools. - MUST have at least 4+ years experience working in an Agile Scrum environment / methodology and/or TDD (Test Driven Development) writing and executing automated tests with Visual Studio Team Foundation in a Microsoft shop with ASP MVC providing Coded UI tests - Work with Infrastructure teams and developers to effectively understand the environment changes and accordingly create test plans for - Experience creating test suites with other tools like Selenium, FitNesse and SOAPUI (Web services Testing), HP QTP, and others - Knowledge of software development life cycle and processes for quality assurance guidelines - Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies - Knowledge of quality philosophies, principles, methods, tools and standards of software development and testing (software estimation techniques, risk assessment and management, configuration management and change control, software tracking constructs) - - Knowledge of Internet protocols and technologies (Http, TCP/IP, DNS, FTP, etc.) - Knowledge of XML-based technologies, and encryption programming (SSL, etc.) - - Knowledge of object oriented programming - Knowledge of build technologies - Knowledge of n-tier architecture - Knowledge of the disciplines of Software Engineering with emphasis on testing - Experience testing Client/Server and Web software - Knowledge of Internet and enterprise software technologies including web and application servers - Efficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Project, Visio)   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
