Quality Assurance CICS XML .NET Analyst (Jobs in Boston, MA)   Requirement id 3215 Job title Analyst Job location in Boston, MA Skills required Quality Assurance, CICS, SQL, XML .NET Open Date 15-Mar-2011 Close Date Job type Contract Duration 12 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type Phone Screen and Face to Face interview Apply    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Analyst: Quality Assurance, CICS, SQL, XML .NET [NOTE(4):A.Close Date:03/18/2011 05:00PM B.Resumes allowed per authorized vendor is 4.] Primary Responsibilities • Define the testing objectives. • Define the scope of the testing effort. • Define the testing approach. • Identify the key milestone dates. • Organize and lead team members (when needed). • Define testing roles and responsibilities within the team (when needed). • Define testing documentation. • Define the business processes to be tested. • Identify the systems functionality to be tested. • Identify the systems interfaces to be tested. • Write detailed QA Test Plans /Develop Detailed Test Scripts. Documents should contain needed information for anyone within the QA department to execute and validate the test. Documents should contain explicit details about expected results. • Create data required for positive and negative testing. • Update and maintain a Bug/Issues Log (including improvement suggestions). • Create, update and maintain a Testing Results Matrix to determine if all functional/business requirements have been tested. • Test all Functional/Business Requirements. • Test multiple components or applications to ensure the integrity of data and functionality among these separate components. • Test system/application navigation. • Evaluate overall software performance. • Re-test fixes and update Bug/Issues Log and Testing Results Matrix. • Perform Regression testing to discover any adverse effects on other functionalities. • Perform Stress testing and Load testing. • Assist the Training Department and User Acceptance testing . • Assist with post-production implementation testing. • Support the project team with business application functionality. • Have strong organizational skills. • Testing across customized and vendor supplied application products. Qualifications Education, Skills and Competencies • Bachelors degree or equivalent. • A minimum two years experience in Software Quality Assurance Testing. • A minimum two years experience with SQA processes, methodologies and best practices in an Agile environment. • Experience in multi-platform testing (IBM Mainframe (TSO, CICS), Windows Environment, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Adobe Reader, SQL, XML, .NET). • Experience with Drivers Licensing and Registration functionality a plus. • A minimum two years experience with an automation scripting language. • Experience in testing applications developed using the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Model is preferable. • Experience with the Unified Software Development Process. • Experience with developing detailed test plans, test matrices, and test cases based on business requirements. • Experience in tracking issues found during testing efforts and documenting re-testing instructions. • Experience in working closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Software Developers, Third Party Vendors, Documentation and Training staff, and End Users to assure quality software products. • Experience providing defect measurements. • Strong communication skills.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
