Quality Assurance Tester QA Testing Strategy Document Problem Resolution Documentatio   Requirement id 54652 Job title Tester Job location in Cranston, RI Skills required Quality Assurance, Tester, QA, Testing Strategy Document Problem Resolu Open Date 30-Jun-2016 Close Date Job type Not specified Duration 3 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type --- Apply    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Tester: Quality Assurance, Tester, QA, Testing Strategy Document Problem Resolu start date:07/12/2016 submission deadline:07/06/2016 description: Apply advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business issues, and is regarded as a subject matter expert Contribute to the development of new ideas and methods by working through complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in depth evaluation of multiple factors Exercise significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives Be a solid performer in the testing domain and will be responsible for conducting test activities in an Agile project Scrum team Be a self-starter and possess strong communication (both written and verbal) and leadership skills Be a team player and work collaboratively with all stakeholders on the project Have a strong consulting and customer satisfaction skills and strive to achieve established goals, objectives, and quality standards of the project Adhere to established timelines and must have a strong focus on ensuring all deadline dates are met Have experience with user interface, usability, performance, and object-oriented testing Have working knowledge of Agile environments Have experience with testing web-based applications Department of Motor Vehicle domain knowledge / expertise is a plus Responsibilities: Test software new releases, fixes and application enhancements Test changes to business process, work flow and documentation Performing functional, usability, user acceptance and performance (load and stress) testing Review requirements and design documentation in order to design and document test plans and test case specifications Evaluate documentation to ensure adherence to QA methodology and standards Assist in decomposing high-level requirements identified in project documentation into testable detailed requirements Evaluate, document and report test results and defect status Use independent judgment in analyzing defect data to interpret and present conclusions to management and team members with specific recommendations Maintain requirements traceability from use case through test script, defect tracking, and resolution Promote testing and quality software development practices throughout the software development / configuration life cycle Consults with team members and other organizations, clients and vendors on complex issues Skills Required (provide specific details around tools, client environment, certifications needed, etc): MUST HAVE Required Skills: 5-7 years experience as a Quality Assurance / Tester Experience with Agile Scrum Experience with automated testing toolsets Experience managing off-shore resources Expert in all phases of QA / Testing life cycle Knowledgeable in formalized QA / Testing strategy, processes, methodologies and standards Familiar with Agile frameworks and testing process implications Able to clearly articulate complex issues to both technical and non-technical audiences Demonstrated strong analysis, problem resolution, judgment and decision making skills Bachelors degree in area of specialty Optional Skills: Department of Motor Vehicle domain knowledge / expertise is a plus   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
