Develops and executes both manual and automated procedures to test software modules and programs. Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed. Compiles data and defines changes required in software modules, testing procedures, or new testing requirements.. Responsible for designing, developing and implementing cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment. Skills: Effective script-authoring and application of software test automation, code quality analysis, and test coverage analysis technologies such as Junit, Fitnesse, Selenium, UFT, Fortify, Findbugs, SonarQube Administration and operation of virtualized and networked multi-node test environments. Integration of continuous-build, test automation, and quality-metrics reporting technologies Experience: Typically a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 plus years related experience in software development and software testing, or Masters degree and a minimum of 4-6 plus years experience.
