They are assigned ownership of quality activities for multiple projects/ initiatives through to completion. This includes working with project management, development, the testing vendor, clients, partners, and the business. Responsibilities for this position include: * Develop test strategy and quality activities: o Collaborate with development, business and systems analysts, and subject matter experts to identify risks and a test strategy to mitigate them o Present test strategy to key stakeholders, subject matter experts, business analysts, and testing vendor o Review and approve test scenarios developed in conjunction with the testing vendor and business analysts o Perform exploratory and smoke testing on delivered features to quickly identify initial defects or deployment issues * Defect Management: o Triage failed test cases to route the defect to the support or development teams o Champion issues to ensure owners and action items through to completion * Project Management and Service Delivery: o Develop and execute plans with the project team, partners, and clients o Represent and own quality in projects and non-project initiatives o Establish milestones and goals for quality activities o Clearly communicate project status at various intervals based on the need * Maintain a consistent methodology and audit trail * Perform root cause analysis on defect leaked to Production Skills: Category Name Required Importance Level Last Used Experience Miscellaneous Systems Quality Yes 1 Miscellaneous Testing Skills Yes 1 Specialties Quality Assurance Yes 1 Specialties Tester Yes 1 Additional Position Requirements: * Flexibility to support and manage multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously with working hours as required, supporting off-hours system deployments * Excellent communication skill (written, verbal, and presentation) * Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem solving skills * Risk identification and mitigation plan development * Attention to detail, strong work ethic, and results orientation The following is a plus: * Experience as a Test Architect, Test Designer, Test Analyst, Tester, Software Engineer, or Business Analyst with focus in both software and infrastructure projects * Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience * Certifications, standards, and processes (partial list): o CSTE, CSQA, Six Sigma, CQM o ITIL or the Capability Maturity Model   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
