Completion of a Bachelors (or higher) degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent discipline. 3. Completion of a technical certification program in Computer Science or Information Systems Strong understanding of established Quality Assurance test methodologies Experience with basic SQL commands Experience with Windows, LINUX, and MAC client and server operating systems Experience working with Java based applications Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills Experience with testing web-based application Good written and verbal communication skills Good time management skills 1. Collaborate with other team members within an Agile SDLC framework to deliver high quality solutions via iterative sprint commitments and periodic release vehicles. 2. Research and understand software requirements, functional and technical designs, as well as participate in meetings to clarify and refine requirements and designs. 3. Develop and implement effective test strategies and comprehensive test plans for products defined by the requirements and designs. 4. Create, document, and prioritize test requirements and high level test cases for the software 5. Produce reliable estimates for the time needed to execute assigned projects and tasks. 6. Create and execute detailed test cases and create necessary test data for those test cases. 7. Communicate and present test artifacts such as test plans, test cases, and quality assurance processes to any and all interested parties. 8. Perform manual testing to ensure the software meets stated requirements & designs, including having a positive user experience. Test methods will include a mix of black box, white box, positive, negative, boundary, stress, integration, exploratory, usability, system, platform, or regression testing methodologies. 9. Follow sound problem solving methodologies to identify, troubleshoot, and properly document software defects with sufficient information to minimize number of rejected defect reports. 10. Perform verification on software defect fixes to ensure they resolve the stated problem. 11. Perform maintenance on existing test-ware, and implement incremental improvements. 12. Identify, quantify, and communicate software risks, and produce comprehensive mitigation strategies. 13. Uphold existing quality assurance standards and processes, and be a champion in driving further improvements. 14.
