The Quality Assurance Analyst will be supporting the planning, design, and execution of testing for new system functionality. This role works collaboratively within the IT department and business units to track, execute, and validate test cases based upon system requirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES,includes the following responsibilities, but not limited to: Develops test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports on multiple projects of varying size. Performs testing between Loan Originating software and Document system. Validates that user expectations are achieved during the testing process. Reviews user requirements documents to ensure that requirements are testable. Documents and reports testing status on daily and weekly basis. Works with business analysts and project managers to determine the most effective testing strategy for projects of varying complexity and size. Ensures that measurable test objectives are established for each system being tested. Ensures that defects uncovered are recorded, summarized, and utilized in post project reviews in an effort to improve the development and test processes. Works with systems development team and business to ensure the timely, thorough testing of technological enhancements prior to release to a production environment. Performs other related duties as required. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 5+ years of Mortgage Experience. Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills. Experience with Mortgage Document Vendors. Strong Understanding of Mortgage Document Packages and Custom Docs. The ability to work closely with users to determine acceptable solutions. Advanced technical skills a plus. Excellent documentation skills.
