This engagement is to clean-up existing scripts and to create new scripts creating a more robust test script inventory. This contract will be a collaborative effort with the ETO Test team to expand and improve both the manual system test scripts and automated regression test scripts. *Required Skills: *8.0 Release Management/Quality Assurance/Configuration Management: *8.0.a. Senior Technical Specialist/Lead: *Functions at the expert level performing analytic oversight and governance activities to control and manage the areas of product release, quality assurance, and configuration management for changes to and development of software products in the CalPERS production environment, and may act in a lead capacity on complex projects or may participate with other analysts on projects of a complex nature or broad scope. *Must possess a minimum of five (5) years experience in project work, monitoring and controlling product baselines and the processes supporting release, and testing of software applications including change and version control; at least three (3) years of said experience must have been at a high level both technically and in measure of responsibility. *Must have experience building and managing project plans. *Must have strong experience in the analysis, design, development, installation, implementation, procurement, and/or technical support duties within specified data processing systems, multifunction office automation systems, microcomputer systems, and/or teleprocessing networks. *Must be able to analyze data and situations; identify and solve problems; reason logically and draw valid conclusions; develop effective solutions; apply creative thinking in the design of methods for processing data. *Must be able to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others. *Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a variety of audience types using different mechanisms including informal updates, formal presentations, business case documents, and other analytical and technical documents. In addition: *3 or more years expertise with HP QuickTest Professional (QTP) key word driven framework *3 or more years of expertise with HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) *3 or more years of experience with VB Scripting (VBA) *3 or more years of experience with SQL using SQL Developer *3 or more years of experience with keyword driven frameworks *8.0.c. Senior Business Analyst/Lead: *Functions at the expert level performing analytic oversight and governance activities related to review of system requirements documentation, development of test plans, creation of test cases, and the execution and validation of complex tests. May act in a lead capacity or participate with other analysts on systems studies of a complex nature or a broad scope. *Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in software testing or change & release management.
