This is a 3-year project; the contractor(s) may be asked to continue after the initial period, depending upon effectiveness and contribution to the team. Initial term is expected to be 12 months, but it will largely depend on the effectiveness of the Analyst and their contribution to the team and the product. The contractor(s) will work on-site, under the direction of an Client project manager, and will review delivered application components to verify that they meet the written requirements. Test plans and automated tests will be written as needed. Excellent knowledge of and experience with: -- Reviewing detailed requirements in Rational Requirements Composer or similar tool -- Writing and executing comprehensive test suites -- Verifying that application components perform as expected even in unusual circumstances and with unexpected data -- Creating, managing, and executing automated tests in the .Net platform -- Clearly documenting issues for prioritization and correction -- Writing queries to create test data as needed and verify results of database and batch operations This position requires an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst who has strong, current skills in these Microsoft development technologies and the ability to be productive using these tools immediately.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
