EEC has many applications that require a Quality Assurance Analysts attention as well as assistance in testing a new COTS application. EEC has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Analyst. This position is responsible for all aspects of testing the web based EEC Unified System project. The selected candidate will provide expert quality assurance services; perform and lead tests to ensure that all systems meet minimum standards and requirements; work closely with application and vendor teams; create complex test data for internal applications and integrated application interfaces from multiple state agencies, document test data; develop improvements to current procedures and develop models of possible future application test configurations. Experience required, in addition to the above requirements: ­ Minimum 5 years of specialized experience in system, user acceptance and regression testing of web technology integration projects ­ Minimum 2 of the 5 years of testing experience conducted for web based System Integration projects ­ Experience in creating test cases and following proven test practices and approaches ­ Experience in test execution, issue tracking, and problem identification and resolution ­ State and/or federal government experience helpful, but not mandatory. Skills Required: ­ Design and development of test plans ­ Documentation of test scripts ­ Test data development using application, database tools and/or files ­ Test case execution in a .NET web server based environment ­ Technology based integration, system and regression testing ­ Ability to identify and report performance issues ­ Documentation of reported problems and defects using tracking software ­ Good problem solving skills ­ Strong understanding of Use Case development ­ Strong documentation skills ­ Excellent verbal and written communication skills ­ Ability to work individually or within a team environment ­ Ability to take direction and work to specified deadlines ­ Displays professionalism and a commitment to quality ­ Consistent attention to detail ­ Knowledge of SQL required ­ Knowledge of automation testing tools a plus.
